What is a typical conversion rate for landing pages?

As he says in the video where I pulled this from, a low conversion rate really depends on who you are and what your conversion is trying to accomplish, but assuming qualified leads (meaning people who clicked here knew that they were looking for your solution or info) anything falling below these numbers should be evaluated for improvement:

• 1.5–2% B2C ecommerce signup
• 3–5% Email signup, e.g., newsletter
• 0.5–1% B2B Saas signup
• 1.5–2% Saas or software free trial
• 4–5% Free app install
• 2–3% Free account signup, e.g., joining a community, Facebook auth to join a website
